There is no accurate feedback system to show where or how much radiation is absorbed in the patient's body. Modern image-guided multi-beam radiation doses cannot be measured accurately by existing dosimeters. A 5% inaccuracy can lower treatment efficacy by 20%.

DOSEmapper1D™ is a disposable high-performance patented radiation dosimeter that measures 100+ dose points inside the patient. It is easily inserted in a catheter into the patient's natural orifice and read afterwards by DOSEmapper™ Reader (TRUEinvivo's patented automated reader) within 15 minutes.
